Great value on organic beans

I was looking for organic coffee and found Kimberley Coffee Company. I signed up for their newsletter and got 10% off my first order of Organic Coffee Beans. That really helped with the price. The shipping was free too since my order was over $100. It arrived fresh and well-packaged. The coffee tastes good and I feel like I got a really fair deal for high-quality organic beans. I'd definitely buy from them again, especially if there's another discount.

Good coffee, slower shipping

I ordered the Mintaka Blend and some Nespresso Compatible Capsules. The coffee itself was really fresh and tasted great, definitely lived up to the 'boutique roastery' claim. It shipped from Australia and took about 12 days to reach my home in Texas, which is a bit longer than I'm used to for online orders. I understand the distance, but maybe a quicker shipping option would be good for those willing to pay. Packaging was secure, no issues there. Customer service was helpful when I asked about tracking. Overall a solid purchase, just plan ahead for delivery times.

Decaf was decent

Got the Decaf Coffee Beans. Delivery took 10 days. Coffee was fresh enough. Tasted fine. No problems with the order.

Thinking about getting some beans for my espresso machine. Which blend from them do you guys like best for a good espresso shot?

S Sam 2 months ago
The Mintaka Blend is solid for espresso, really well balanced. Give that a shot.

I'm a big fan of their Espresso Roast, obviously, haha. It pulls a great shot, super crema.

Hey, thinking about grabbing some coffee, but how fresh is it usually when it gets to me in like, New York?

N Noor 1 month ago
They roast fresh, like super fresh. I'm in California and it's always been good, usually within a week of roasting for me.

They're in Australia, so it takes a bit to cross the ocean. Don't expect next-day delivery, but it's always been vacuum sealed and smells amazing when I open it up.

Does anyone know if they ship to the US? Their website mostly talks about Australia.

A Amber Foster 2 months ago
Yeah, they do! I've ordered from them a few times to Florida. Takes a little longer but it gets here.

They ship internationally, pretty sure. I remember seeing that when I looked it up for a friend in Canada.

Can I stack a first-time customer coupon with the free shipping deal if my order is over $100?

J Jared Foster 2 months ago
Nah, usually you can't stack codes. It's one or the other. Free shipping over $100 is automatic though, so if you have a coupon you might be better off using that if your order is already over the free shipping threshold.

I tried that once, didn't work. The system only lets you put in one code at checkout.

How do these guys compare to, say, St Ali or Padre Coffee? I usually buy from them.

P Paula N. 2 months ago
Kimberley is more small-batch and organic focused, I find their roasts a bit more unique than the bigger names. Less acidic than some St Ali stuff for me.

They're a bit different, good in their own way. Kimberley has a real focus on fair trade and organic that I appreciate, and their single origins are usually fantastic.

I'm looking to try a new subscription. Does Kimberley Coffee offer any kind of discount for the first order or signing up for a subscription?

S Sam 2 months ago
Usually, subscriptions have a built-in discount already, so you might not get another code on top of that. But definitely check for a newsletter sign-up bonus!

I got 10% off my first subscription order, I think it was an automatic thing when I chose the subscription option.

Are their coffee bags recyclable? Trying to be better about my waste.

N Nick Vargas 2 months ago
I'm pretty sure they are, or at least some of them. I vaguely remember seeing something about that on their site.

K Kate Carter 2 months ago
Good question! I usually just toss mine, but I should check. I think some of their packaging is compostable or recyclable, but don't quote me on that.

I'm in Broome right now, can I just pick up my order directly from them instead of waiting for shipping?

G Greg 2 months ago
They're based in Broome, yeah, but I'm not sure if they have a storefront for direct pickups. Most roasteries are just for roasting and shipping.

C Carly Vargas 2 months ago
You'd probably have to check their contact info on the website to see if they do local pick-ups. Might be worth a call.
